Anthony Cuozzo, Jr. is a Senior Advisor at Councilor, bringing more than 40 years of experience serving the not-for-profit community, including 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) organizations.
Tony joined Councilor in 1990 and is a nationally recognized author and discussion leader for accounting and auditing courses offered by CPA firms and professional organizations. These roles keep him at the forefront of developments within the profession.
He has also served in leadership roles within peer review programs, including as chair of the Maryland Association of CPAs Peer Review Committee. His work has included testifying before the Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy on the effectiveness of the AICPA peer review program.
