This national recognition honors accounting firms that demonstrate excellence in workplace culture, employee engagement and overall employee experience. Councilor ranked #16 of the 55 medium sized accounting firms recognized by Accounting Today.
For Councilor, this honor comes at a pivotal time in our firm’s history. Earlier this year, our firm officially introduced the Councilor brand name embarking on an exciting new chapter for a firm with more than a century of history. While the name and visual identity have evolved, our people and values remain the foundation of everything we do.
Now in its 19th year, the annual program conducted by Accounting Today recognizes 100 accounting firms across the country. The two-part selection process, in partnership with Best Companies Group, evaluates several factors. Workplace policies, philosophy, systems and demographics, are included but the study prioritizes what matters most, direct feedback from employees. In fact, employee testament accounts for approximately 75% of the overall evaluation.
